Pergamum AB is a biopharmaceutical company focusing on the dermatology and wound care markets. Pergamum’s development pipeline currently includes five main projects with highly innovative and proprietary technologies offering solutions to therapeutic indications with great unmet medical needs. Three of the projects are currently in clinical phase.

Pergamum’s ‘operating units’ structure yields multiple advantages:

1. It enables efficient operations, synergies and focus in drug development.
2. It allows for several “shots on goal”.
3. It allows a more flexible exit approach to consider out-licensing or sale of certain assets to facilitate the growth of the core business.
4. The prospect of building a viable dermatology and wound care company with sales & marketing capabilities.

Pergamum was formed in 2009 at the initiative of the investment company Karolinska Development, in order to better capitalize on some of its most promising investments to date. Pergamum is also the logical conduit for the commercialization of all future projects offered to Karolinska Development within dermatology and wound care.
